Do I need to know anything about technology?
No. If you can send an email, you can work with Modudek. If you'd like us to set everything up for you, we can do that too.
How do I learn to use Modudek?
There's a 13-minute film, a handbook and a short video guide for each module, with screens from the app (currently in Dutch). And if you get stuck, we'll help you personally, in your language.
Am I tied to a contract?
No. You pay monthly and can cancel any month. Choose a year and you get two months free.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
You try everything in Growth free for 14 days, no credit card needed. You'll get two heads-ups before it ends. Want to continue? Choose your plan and enter your payment details. If not, we pause your workspace: you pay nothing and your data stays stored until you come back or ask us to delete it.
Can I create invoices with Modudek?
Yes, in every plan. One click turns a completed work order into an invoice, with sequential numbering, a structured payment reference and a payment QR code. You email them from Modudek, with reminders and credit notes. E-invoices via Peppol (mandatory between businesses) are coming soon; until then you create PDF invoices.
What does the AI do, and who decides?
The AI writes your website, posts and blog articles, reads your receipts and drafts replies for you. You check everything: nothing is sent or published without your approval.
Can my team work with me?
Yes. You invite team members. Each team member gets their own login and their own email signature, and you approve their expenses.
Which languages does Modudek work in?
The workspace is available in Dutch, French, English, German and Spanish: every team member chooses their own language. Your website can be in the same five languages (Growth or Pro plan): the AI translates everything, visitors choose their language and get forms and e-mails in that language.
Will I be found on Google and in ChatGPT?
Yes. Every Modudek website is built to be found: with your opening hours, services and frequently asked questions in the format Google and AI assistants read. A score with tips shows what you can still improve.
Can I sell online too?
Yes, the Pro plan includes an online shop on your own website, also for digital products the customer downloads right away. Customers pay by Bancontact or card and pick up at a time they choose, or have it shipped. The money goes via Stripe straight to your account: Modudek charges no commission. Just want to show what you offer, e.g. used cars or kitchens? From Growth you can make a catalogue: product pages with a "More information" button instead of a cart.
Do I need professional product photos?
Not necessarily. From Growth, your shop includes the photo studio: drop up to 100 photos at once and Modudek removes the background, puts everything in the same size and makes the files as small as possible. It runs on your own computer, with no cost per photo. Add them straight to your products, or download them as a ZIP for another shop.
Can I put a quote request with photos on my website?
Yes, in every plan. You choose the fields: address, checkboxes, a dropdown, a text box and up to 6 photos. The form gets its own page, and every "Request a quote" button leads there. Each request lands with its photos in your customer list.
I already have a website. Can I still use Modudek?
Yes. You keep your own website and add Modudek's features to it: chat, appointment planner, newsletter and contact form. There's a plugin for WordPress; for other websites, one line of code is enough. Everything comes into your Modudek workspace.
Can I have more than one website?
Yes. Start and Groei include 1 website, Pro includes 2: built in Modudek or connected to your existing website. Each extra website costs €19 per month, and you can always remove it again.
Can I put up a notice when I'm on holiday?
Yes, from the Growth plan. You put a bar, pop-up or small window on your website, e.g. "Closed for holidays" or a promotion with a discount code. With a start and end date, it appears and disappears on its own, on your existing website too.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, in every plan. Already have a domain name? We'll connect it to your Modudek website. Don't have one yet? Request one from within Modudek: .be, .nl or .eu for €30 per year, .com for €35 (excl. VAT). The domain name is registered in your name and stays yours. You can add a mailbox on your new domain (e.g. info@yourbusiness.com): €36 per year.
Where is my clients' data stored?
On secure servers in Europe, in line with the GDPR. Your clients can always unsubscribe from emails.
Can I change plans later?
Always. You can move to a bigger or smaller plan at any time. Your data and your website simply stay in place.
